Ethan, our Executive Director in Training and Soha, our Finance Director in Training spoke at the White House AA and NHPI Mental Health Convening Listening Session on “Centering Community Voices.” They were also joined by members of the leadership team: Taryn, Reed, and Camille.
The listening session was hosted by White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI). The session brought together community leaders, mental health professionals, and federal officials to discuss mental health challenges facing the AANHPI community. AYR was honored to represent the youth perspective.
