As an evaluation study of Dr. Robert Carter, Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Education at Columbia, Dr. Suzuki and her team are examining the emotional impact of racial encounters and how Asian Americans are affected by racial discrimination in terms of psychological and/or emotional reactions.
Individuals will be asked to complete a short demographic survey and a series of scales focusing on encounters of racial discrimination, perceived stress, racial identity, and mental health status. They are also entered in a drawing that gives them a 5% chance to receive a 50$ Amazon gift card!
