Make Us Visible Delaware’s SB 297, which requires the inclusion of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander history as well as other racial, ethnic, and cultural histories in Delaware’s K-12 classrooms, passed the legislature unanimously yesterday. This important measure emphasizes the shared heritage of all Americans and cultivates pride in our unique history of different backgrounds, experiences, and stories.
SB 297 is led by Senate Majority Leader Bryan Townsend and House Member Sophie Phillips (the only AANHPI member of the DE General Assembly).

- SB 297 passed the Delaware House Unanimously on 06/26
