This incredible summit hosted by The Asian American Foundation brought together community leaders, educators, funders, and mental health experts to confront the urgent challenges facing AAPI youth. Informed by TAAF’s 2024 Beyond the Surface report, the summit spotlighted community-led solutions to the AAPI youth mental health crisis.
The morning started with some time for networking, followed by a series of morning sessions where various community leaders shared breakthrough strategies. Lunch was followed by afternoon breakouts, an incredible panel, and a call to action and TAAF shared about their Asian+American campaign.
This summit helped to foster partnerships to break stigma and expand culturally-relevant care and elevate AAPI stories rooted in lived experience to deepen understanding and drive change. We are so grateful to have been a part of it!
