The pride parade was held in San Francisco on June 29 – 30. Members from AYR marched alongside the organization CA vs. Hate, as well as many other organizations and individuals, in an effort to raise awareness about available support for reporting acts of hate. This annual march celebrates diversity, promotes inclusivity, and advocates for equality for all LGBTQ+ communities.
AYR members participated in an interview and marched down Market Street from the intersection at Spear. AYR Board Member Anna Hill recalled that a memorable moment for her was “passing out stickers and seeing so many people wearing vibrant outfits!” The unity, enthusiasm, and support of the attendees at the parade helped raise awareness and promote true impact surrounding hate reporting.
