America250 intruduces an exciting opportunity for students across the country—America’s Field Trip. This nationwide scholastic competition invites students in grades 3 through 12 to submit art, poems, or essays answering: What does America mean to you?
Winning students and a parent or guardian will embark on exclusive field trips to some of America’s most iconic sites. This year, we’re proud to launch America’s Field Trip for the 2024-25 school year with BNY Mellon, Discovery Education, and support from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, National Parks Service, Smithsonian Institution, Library of Congress, National Archives, and more. Experiences include private tours of the Smithsonian Museums, behind-the-scenes access to the Kennedy Space Center, and immersive visits to Yellowstone National Park and more!
America’s Field Trip is accepting applications until April 16, 2025, with a submission deadline of 5 PM ET. Awardees will be notified in late April or early May, and field trips will take place in July and August 2025.
