We are hosting a Blasian Book Fair on SEP 14, Sat in Orlando!
MUV FL is partnering with Blasian March, Inc. to host the first Blasian March Book Fair in Florida. On September 14, 2024, from 1PM to 5PM at A Perfect Union Gallery at the West Oaks Mall.
We will offer the community free literature of all genres and ages from Black, Asian, and Blasian authors at the Blasian March Book Fair, as a means to better build Black-Asian solidarity through shared storytelling between marginalized communities. We would like to invite you to collaborate in the creation of this event.
As we continue to build coalitions across racial communities, we have noticed one crucial missing piece: we don’t know each others’ stories. Many of us have yet to understand the stories, perspectives, and histories of the other group. This centers on the idea that Black Asian solidarity must be rooted in the mutual building of trust.
