Earlier this week, Chapter Leader Hana Parker brought our lesson plan to her history class at Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas. Hana said, “Teaching the One Day of AAPI History lesson provided me the opportunity to amplify AAPI voices and stories in an engaging and interactive way and also deepened my own understanding of AAPI history.
