Hi! I’m Mia, the Operations and Communications Director in Training. I am under the primary guidance of Charlee, the current Operations and Communications Director. I’m learning the ropes of managing emails, our monthly newsletter, Slack, creating meeting agendas, and taking minutes. I believe we can nurture young minds and foster leaders who will continue to advocate for positive change.
I look forward to contributing my creative ideas, organizational skills, and dedication to AYR and positively inspiring the next generation!

Outside of my activism work, I enjoy spending quality time with my dog, drawing, and playing baseball and softball. I’m so grateful to be accepted into this position and will continuously work to support the AAPI community with AYR!
