Hi, I’m Matthew! I’m the Legislative Action Committee Co-Lead at AYR and a Junior at Campolindo High School in Moraga, California.
I’m passionate about advocating for the AAPI community and ensuring underrepresented youth voices are heard in the legislative process. In this role, I’ll be working to support local, state, and federal initiatives that align with our mission to create a more inclusive future for AAPI Youth. I firmly believe that legislation is a key avenue in developing lasting progress because of my work within elder fraud protection advocacy. I’m excited to make a difference within our community through the legislative process!
In my time at AYR, I’ve been able to present the One Day of AAPI History to the Moraga School District and speak at Act to Change’s 6th Day Against Bullying and Hate as a Youth Ambassador.

In my free time, I enjoy learning about the various complexities within the field of business, spending time with friends, and playing football as a captain. I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as a Co-Lead for the Legislative Action Committee.
