Small Actions Make a Difference
Our Mission
AAPI Youth Rising is a national student-led organization that believes in the collective power of small actions. We unite against hate through civic engagement, we speak out, we advocate for diverse curricula in our schools, and we celebrate our creativity.

United against Hate-Fueled Violence
We are Uniters. After MIna was recognized at the United We Stand Summit held at the White House, we thank our partners and continue to partner with:
- The California Civil Rights Department as a grant funded partner for the launch of the California vs. Hate campaign.
- The Uniters Townhalls.

We have been invited to the White House to speak at the White House Forum on AANHPI, address the President’s Advisory Commission on AANHPI, attend the historic Lunar New Year event held at the White House, and honored at the United We Stand Summit.

International reach
American Girl reached out to AAPY Youth Rising to be their partner organization for the launch of the first Chinese-American Girl of the Year Doll in 2021. We reached 1.3 billion impressions in 2022 through this partnership. Through InquirED, a US-based curriculum service, we reach an additional 300,000 domestic teachers and international teachers in 2024.
